Hey, thanks for stopping by. Please allow me to introduce myself and tell you a bit about my blog. My name is Jill. Also known as Dr. Jill, Dr. Schott, Professor, Doc, babe, and hey you among other things….but NEVER Jillian. Ugh, I despise being called that.
Now that that’s out of the way. I originally started this blog (https://wordpress.com/view/sacredinsightsblog.wordpress.com) just after I graduated with my master of pastoral care and counseling degree in 2008. I found that my observations and humor helped people think a little and laugh a little. And, if I was lucky, something I wrote had an impact. Unfortunately, I slacked off and stopped writing. Some time ago, one of my blog posts appeared in my Facebook memories. I reread it and shared it. A wise and wonderful woman read it and commented that I should start writing again. So, I’m back!
A word about what you’ll read in this blog and what makes me a good therapist. I say what is on my mind. I don’t sugar coat stuff. I will challenge you. I will make you laugh and possibly cry. The rules are simple. ..I appreciate feedback but I do not tolerate disrespect…to me or anyone who is also commenting.
